7-Hour Educational Offerings
Neuroprotective Caregiving: One Brain for Life
This course provides practical implementation strategies related to Neuroprotective and Family–Centered Developmental Care. This includes understanding of brain and sensory development as well as how to adapt the environment of care, minimize stress, optimize positioning and handling, integrate families in care, promote sleep and improve oral feeding practices.

The Art & Science of Neonatal Caregiving
This course provides an in-depth review of brain and sensory development as the basis of neonatal caregiving and then spends 90 minutes each on practical techniques and implementation strategies for skin-to-skin holding, oral feeding techniques and neonatal massage.
4-Hour Educational Offerings
Neuroprotective Care: Knowledge and Skills for Successful Practice
This workshop provides basic brain and sensory information as a basis for these neurodevelopmental care strategies and then has a lab with dolls and video to practice handling, positioning and neonatal massage.
Holding, Handling, and Positioning: Knowledge and Skills for Successful Practice
This workshop provides basic brain and sensory information as a basis for neurodevelopmental care strategies and then has a lab with dolls and video to practice handling, positioning and skin-to-skin holding transfers.
Neonatal On-Line Education (NOLE)
The Neonatal On-Line Education (NOLE) is for all neonatal caregivers (OT, PT, SLP, RN, CLS, LMT, RT) and includes 3 distinct on-line courses to choose from. NOLE will further your knowledge in a vast array of neonatal neuroprotective, neuropromotional and family centered care topics. Each course can be taken individually or combined for maximum learning. Follow-Up Mentorship Sessions
NICU Team Mentoring Sessions are designed for follow up after programs to maximize the clinical practices learned in the course. This includes three, one-hour conference calls customized to assure clarity and direction to audit, lead and improve efficiency and safety in neurodevelopmental and family-centered care in the NICU.
